Our most popular and longest program, for students who want to be well-rounded, train in every media, and work as a makeup artist, special FX artist or esthetician with no restrictions.
Most states have licensing requirements for freelance makeup artists, and many retail cosmetic companies only hire licensed professionals. Graduates are licensed as Skin Care Specialists by the Florida Department of Professional Regulation, which satisfies that requirement.

The Master Makeup Artistry program is for individuals who want training in all medias and already hold a cosmetology or skin care license. It is also for those who do not intend on charging for makeup services like weddings and special events.
The Master program is the same curriculum as the Master Pro minus the skin care module.
In order to work with models, photographers and designers, a makeup artist needs specialized skills. Students learn set etiquette, industry terminology, lighting and product knowledge, and the techniques to do print advertising, catalogs, editorial and runway shows.
In our fully equipped professional photography studio, students gain experience as they begin building a diversified portfolio.
The Skin Care program covers the knowledge and procedures needed to run a successful skin care business. Students learn skin analysis, facial massage and treatments, peels, waxing, and basic makeup artistry.
Students are trained with Dermalogica Skin Care Professional Products. Graduates will be ready for licensure as Skin Care Specialists by the Florida Department of Professional Regulation.
By training in special effects makeup, you open yourself up to a whole new world. The creativity in SFX surpasses all other areas of artistry, and special effects artists work on the coolest projects.
There are only a few special effects makeup schools in the country. At Cosmix you will learn the design and creation of realistic silicone and latex prosthetics and dental appliances — preparing you to work in film, television and theatrical productions, or in a special effects lab building for cosplay events, haunted houses, toy and video game productions and theme parks.
